CBT is the practice of changing how we respond to situations.
For example, if your boss walks straight passed you instead of saying their usual 'hello' you might feel some anxiety.
What did I do wrong?
Why are they mad at me?
Am I in trouble?
Before you know it, you have a tight chest and have contemplated a future fight with your boss.
This is where CBT comes in! We note the situation, note our feelings and responses, look at our unhelpful thought and behaviour patterns and offer a better alternative. Usually, by the end we start to feel much better and have more constructive ways to respond to this situation.
The more we do this, the better we get. This is rewiring the brain for a better life!
If you want to read more about this, there are many resources. Here is a link to 'what is CBT?' and "how do I use a CBT log?" for some further reading.
Oh - also, CBT stands for "Cognitive Behavioural Therapy"!
A part of CBT is logging your thoughts and behaviours in response to a situation.
Now, that can be a tough process, especially when some of the templates look like 😨😵 this 😵😨 whereas this site's PDF looks like 🔥💯this💯🔥 (and it's made automatically!).
This was designed to make it as easy as possible to implement CBT in your life - as I truly believe it is a superpower once learned!
At the end, you can download a PDF summary of your CBT log. This website doesn't track or store your information either - just use it when you need to.
This site is made for mobile phones in your browser for easy access! Why not bookmark this as a tool for a better life!
